Electric fire broke out while I was away from home.

Thankfully I came home in time to put out the fire before it burnt the whole place down. And I am blessed to have really nice neighbour and colleagues who rushed over to keep me company till late.



What an "adventure".

it's really nice to receive birthday wishes from friends when I am far away in a foreign land.

Birthday month is here again.

10 more days to my special day. 

Celebration will be slightly different this year. For once, I will be celebrating my birthday in a foreign land. For once, I will be celebrating my birthday without my closed ones.

And maybe, just maybe. I will have some quiet time by myself. 

I am not anti-social (okay, I can be anti-social at times), but it will be weird for me to go around telling my new colleagues/friends that my birthday will be here in 10 days. 

If things go according to plan and I am not too tired to forgo my plan. I will probably head down somewhere to have some authentic German sausages and beer!

Been having bad dreams recently, really bad dreams.

and they are getting more and more frequent. 

Updates on QQland: 5 days leave to clear. Shld I head to Shanghai for a short break or head back home???
